Hi, I’m Jaedon — a Product Designer based in Toronto šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦

I focus on building scalable systems and intuitive digital experiences.

I’m currently at BMO, where I contribute to Abacus, the design system supporting digital experiences across the organization. I focus on public-facing products, helping teams design and build consistent, scalable experiences. My work sits at the intersection of design systems, CMS platforms, and product design, helping teams create consistent, accessible experiences at scale.

I design and help govern shared libraries, including components, foundations, and CMS-ready modules used across multiple lines of business. I also work closely with designers, developers, and product teams to review new module proposals, support migrations, and ensure everything aligns with system standards, accessibility requirements, and platform constraints.

This work has helped improve consistency across experiences, accelerate page creation, and reduce reliance on custom development by enabling teams to build using reusable patterns in Contentful.

Experience

I started as a Graphic Designer at Rodmell & Company, building a foundation in visual design and creative problem-solving.

I then moved to Loblaw Digital, where I designed digital assets for CMS-driven platforms across brands like Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw Marketplace, and PC Express — gaining early experience working within structured systems.

At BMO, my role has evolved to focus on system-level design, shaping the foundations that enable teams to build efficiently and consistently.

How I work

I take a systems-first approach to my work, focusing on creating stability and consistency across teams. I take ownership of system quality and am often working behind the scenes to ensure we can design and ship without friction.

I support designers in navigating constraints, resolving issues early, and maintaining a high standard of quality across the system.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time traveling and documenting my experiences through photography and video. I enjoy exploring new places, visiting art galleries, and trying new foods — always looking for inspiration through different cultures and visual storytelling.
